  ABSTRACT  
  A general common fixed point theorem for two pairs of weakly subsequentially continuous mappings (recently introduced) satisfying a significant estimated implicit function is proved. An extension of this result is thereby obtained. Our results assert the existence and uniqueness of common fixed points in several cases.

  ABSTRACT  
  In the present article we have introduced Zweier Paranorm I-convergent double sequence spaces for q, a double sequence of positive real numbers. We study some topological properties, prove the decomposition theorem and study some inclusion relations on these spaces. The notion of I-convergence is a generalization of the statistical convergence. At the initial stage it was studied by Kostyrko, Salat and Wilezynski. The approach of constructing the new sequence spaces by means of the matrix domain of a particular limitation method have been recently employed by Altay,Basar and Mursaleen.

  Trigonometric Approximation in a Weighted Lipschitz Class

  ABSTRACT  
  Recently, Mishra et al. (2014) obtained the degree of approximation of f~, conjugate of a 2π periodic function f belonging to the weighted Lipschitz class W(Lp, xi(t)), through the Cesàro-Nӧrlund means of the conjugate Fourier series of f. Zhang (2014) has pointed out that the conclusions of the theorem of Mishra et al. (2014) hold only for constant functions, and thus the results are trivial. In this paper, we redefine the problems of Mishra et al. (2014) and Lal (2009) for general functions belonging to W(Lp, xi(t)); and find the degree of approximation through trigonometric polynomials, generated by the Hausdorff means of the Fourier series, under weighted norm which in turn resolve the issues raised by Zhang (2014). We also derive some corollaries from our results.

  We obtain some formulas for sums of Rogers-Ramaunjan type by utilizing certain transformations and limiting cases for q-hypergeometric functions. This technique also leads to certain functions which could be viewed as generalizing the q-Bessel functions, and also a number of interesting identities.

  ABSTRACT  
  In this paper we de ne new contraction type map- pings with a mixed monotone property call them {a; b; c} M first and Msecond type contraction mapping de ned from XxX into X, where X is a sequentially ordered Banach space and prove the ex- istence of pair, first-anti-second, and second-anti-first couple fixed points of such mappings. We also define {a; b; c; r}-contraction from X into X, where X is a complete b-normed space and prove the existence of a unique fixed unique point of such mappings. The results of this paper are extensions of the results proved in some previous research papers.
